Opportunity is knocking!

After a well rested night Ellie wakes up to see the clock read 12:52pm. Today was supposed to be her first day as a background Extra at her new job but work starts at 1pm. She cooks her breakfast (waffles) as fast as she can and heads to the escalators-hopefully they'll be faster then the stairs!

Jeanie wakes up shortly after and receives a call from Sacred Spleen Memorial Hospital."Would you be so kind to play your piano for our patients?" The children's event planner asked. Jeanie was extatic, of course she would. This was a great way to get her talent out their and to give back to the community! 

While Jeanie gets a great opportunity Ellie is devastated to know that she is late for her first day of work and unfortunately the elevators aren't moving any faster for her. Once the elevator doors do open however, Ellie runs straight outside and hops into the carpool.

Jeanie is too excited to wait and agrees to go over to the hospital now. She hops into her new car The La Matea and heads off to the hospital.

Ellie gets too work a little late but that's OK because nothing has started without her. She was planning on introducing herself to the Cast n' Crew today but that will have to wait. Instead she's going to have to start complimenting the Director, who said sucking up ever hurt anybody?

As Ellie works meanwhile Jeanie has been playing the Hospital children's favorite songs. They have been having so much fun that the children had forgotten their ailments.When it was time to go, the hospital staff thanked her and this seemed to have improved their relationship. It seemed to be the best choice for Jeanie to take on this opportunity.

Jeanie called Ellie at work, once she got home, to see how everything was doing. Ellie had reassured her that she was having a blast and had improved her relationship with her boss. This really was what she wanted to do forever. However as a background extra her pay was low. Jeanie told Ellie about her day and how wonderful the hospital children were. As a nurturing sim this got Ellie thinking that she really wanted kids but she had no boyfriend or husband. Maybe just being surrounded by them would ease her want though. How about holding a daycare center? Ellie loved the idea and it was a great way to get extra cash . Hopefully Jeanie would be on board she can't take care of all those kids by herself.
